David Irving is an artist living in the countryside of New Zealand. His works are sold worldwide, with much of his time devoted to the painting or drawing classic vehicles, aeroplanes, historic buildings and portraits. Working from photographs or even just his (or others) imagination, he works mainly with watercolours or pencil, although other media are used from time to time. The wonderful DB4 featured a 240 bhp 3.7 litre engine designed by Tadek Marek, it featuring an aluminium block with cast iron wet liners, while a special David Brown 4 speed transmission was designed to cope with the torque. This limited edition print is signed and numbered by the artist.

Austin Mini Cooper, from an original watercolour by David Irving. This open edition print shows the Mk1 Austin "little brick" in standard period trim. Released in 1959, the Mini remains as one of Britain's most influential cars, never had such a small car featured front-wheel drive and transverse engines. The genius of Sir Alexander Issigonis is captured forever with this wonderful print.

The Austin A30 was replaced in 1956 by the much improved Austin A35. The big news lay under the hood, the new model borrowing the larger A-Series 948cc engine as found in the Morris Minor 1000. Inevitably these would find their way to the race track. Captured here in brilliant red is the Duncan A35 Race Special in race livery. The print is signed by the artist.

This new powerplant gave the little Austin good performance for its class and even led to some Saloon Car Racing successes during the mid-50's. The A35 featured a larger front grille (with painted slats instead of chrome in a horse-shoe shape), a larger rear window and flashing turn signal indicators to replace the semaphore trafficators used on the A30. The Open edition print is signed by the artist.
