Club Commodore Australia
Club Commodore Australia Incorporated is a recently formed car club for Holden Commodore enthusiasts of all walks of life. Whether you drive a classic sedan, wagon, or ute, or the latest VE, all commodore owners are welcome. Our club is family orientated with regular social outings and cruises as well as events like shows and displays.
There's no better way to improve your driving skills, increase your motoring knowledge and have a whole lot of fun than to join with others who share the same passion.
As our club grows our club events will expand to meet the needs of its enthusiastic members.
Membership :: Club membership is open to all interested persons who own and drive a Holden Commodore. Our membership fees are a reasonable $55.00 per annum for a single full membership or $25.00 for a cruising membership. Full members will receive a membership card, club sticker, and a club shirt as part of their first years membership fee. Membership benefits include free subscription to our quarterly magazine as well as our regular activities and of course discounts from our club sponsors.
For more information on memberships benefits and fees, or to apply for membership, visit our Membership page.
Club Nights :: Club nights are held on the second Friday of each month at 7.30pm and are typically a social occasion, with lots of time to enjoy a drink and chat with other members. Sharing information and making new friends are what 'Clubs' are all about where all members and family get together for a meal and catch up. The venue is determined a week prior so everyone will have enough notice. There is no club night in January.
Meetings provide a great opportunity for members (and prospective members) to get together and talk about issues of the day. It also gives the committee a chance to update members on Club activities and matters of interest.
The
Monaro Club of Victoria was established in 1973. Today
with over 200 members the club is flourishing with
the sights and sounds of every type of Monaro built
from the very first 1968 HK models through to the latest
2005 CV8Z coupes. The club was established to provide
enthusiasts with a focal point for their interest in
Australia's best known performance car.
Club
members possess a wealth of knowledge about individual
models and are always keen to help new owners and first
time restorers. The network of contacts within
the club can help members find that specialist repairers
or locate hard to get parts.
The club prides itself
on its family atmosphere. The majority of activities
and events available to members are family oriented,
allowing all family members the opportunity to enjoy
a club run or activity. The club meets on the second
Wednesday of the month at 8:00pm at the Chevrolet Car
Club Rooms, at factory 1 number 3 Edgecombe Court in
Moorabbin. Melway reference 78 B7.
Prospective
members are welcome to attend club meetings and
talk to members before they decide to join. You
don't need to own a Monaro to become a member of the
club but we are sure it won't be long before you are
regularly behind the wheel of that special car.
We cater only for FX and FJ Holdens
- stock, modified or anything in between is perfect.
The first meeting of the Early Model Holden Club of
Victoria was on the 18th December 1970 and we are still
going strong to this day. We welcome all owners of
FX & FJ's to our club. Whether
your Early is registered or unregistered, finished or
unfinished, driveable or undriveable, we welcome you.
There are many potential members out there who believe
that their Early is not good enough to be in a club.
Believe us, ANY Early is ideal. We are a family orientated
club and invite you to join us at a meeting, or contact
one of the Committee members via our website for further
information.
The NSW Commodore clubs objective is to promote interest
in all Commodores, further assisting its members with
technical information, fun events, car shows, functions
and driver awareness programs. If you own or are thinking
of buying a Commodore, and live in NSW, this is the club
to join if you would like to enjoy the company of like
minded enthusiasts who both take pride in and have fun
with their cars.
Our
club is dedicated to the preservation of FE and FC
model Holdens, original, restored or modified. Now
in our 22nd year, we have around 90 members. We hold
our own regular meetings and events, as well as participate
in the FE-FC Holden Nationals.
We publish our own newsletter,
called Sideplate, which is distributed to all members
and other FE-FC Clubs around Australia. Membership
is open to anyone with an interest in the preservation
of these model Holdens. You do not have to own one!
