1975 HJ Sandman Rep.
I have for sale a genuine HJ panel van. This van is in near perfect condition and has been restored from the ground up. The entire front end is new including all bushes, ball joints, steering linkages, tie rods etc. This van has a 308 L34 motor, Extractors, Twin Stainless Steel Exhausts, Turbo 350 box, 650 Holly, GTS Guards, Twin Headlights, GTS Dash, Original HJ Radio, Black Cloth Bucket Seats, The interior is just about perfect, great crash pad, door trims, carpet, console etc, all in perfect condition, and the roof lining is about 90% good. In the back is a custom made lining and looks great. It is also windowless. The little amount of rust that was ever in this van has been fixed except a small amount above the top tail gate on the gutter; I don’t have the knowledge to fix this. The exterior has been sanded back to bare metal and is painted in undercoat Grey, so it is ready to paint what ever color you want, the undercoat is ok but may need re doing before the final color is applied. The tyres and rims are standard. It is not registration. Over all this van is around 90% excellent condition for its age, the motor is great and it flyes. To finish it off to a Sandman Rep won’t take much, this van is 98% complete to a drivable stage, there are a few small jobs to complete at little expense to you, and all the hard work and expense has been done. These vans now are classed as a classic car
and there are not to many left. With a little bit of dedication and not much expense you can own one of Australians classics. Included are lots of spare parts.
