The BiTurbo Spyder was introduced to the public at the Turin Motor Show in 1984. Production continued until 1994.
When the BiTurbo was introduced by Alessandro De Tomaso his plans were to combine the prestige of the Maserati brand with a car that would be more affordable than the previous models.
