I experienced appalling customer service at Suttons Rosebery. I took out a 3 year “AutoProtection Plan” on the car I had bought from them, something like an extended warranty to cover some service costs. Two months later my car was written off in an accident. After 4 months of phone calls, leaving messages, writing emails (messages never returned, emails not answered) I eventually was refunded $417 of the $825 I had paid. I hadn’t used the plan during the 2 months, but was given back only 50% of what I had paid.
Oh, and when I bought the car the Sales Manager looked me in the eye and told me that it wasn’t possible to reduce the price any more, they would hardly break even etc – but when another dealer offered me a better price, all of a sudden Suttons could match it.
I am buying a new car this year but will never deal with Suttons again – in fact, I will never buy a Holden again.
