A Ford Dealership has been on the Dale Ford site in Bankstown for almost 40 years. In the 1970s the dealership was owned and run by racing car legend Jack Brabham, now of course known as "Sir" Jack Brabham OBE, and the Dealership proudly carried his name above the door.?
Dale Ford is an independent, family-owned business working closely with the local community.
The Club was formed in 1982 and although originally established with the Australian assembled Ford Capri Mark 1 in mind, the Club caters for all Ford cars with the Capri name. This includes the British Mark 1s, 2s and 3s, the Australian designed and built Ford Capri Convertible, based on the Australian Ford Laser/Mazda 323 of the late 1980s/early 1990s and, the original Classic Capri of the early 1960s!
