P.O. Box 279 ,
Burwood VIC 3125
Established in 2004 with 18 members, the GM HDHR Cruise Club came to fruition by like minded people drawn together with a common interest to preserve the motoring heritage and passion for General Motors’ Holden Cars in particular from the HD (1965- 1966) and HR (1966-1968) models.
Today, with over 40 members, the GM HDHR Cruise Club continues to grow year and year and has established itself as a prominent cruise club attending not just shows and events throughout Victoria, but regularly holding fun and enjoyable cruises throughout the Melbourne region and occasionally, interstate. Whilst originally starting as a ‘Holden’ club, we now have member’s cars ranging from the classic Holdens, Dodge, Mazda, Chevrolet & some more modern variants also.
The GM HDHR Cruise Club is approved to participate in the VicRoads Club Permit Scheme and maintain a strict compliance policy to ensure all members can enjoy this privilege.
With no monthly or annual meetings held in clubrooms, the GM HDHR Cruise Club members prefer to have our meetings out and about over a cold drink whilst cooking on the BBQ, enjoying a good meal at a local pub’s or attending one of the many car events held throughout the year.
Being family orientated, we welcome families with children and cater our events & cruises to suit. During our cruises, we welcome donations towards Kidney Health Australia who we support them through our fundraising efforts.
We welcome prospective members to join us on our next cruise. A calendar of events is on our website, http://www.hdhrcruiseclub.com
