The GM Owners Day is being held on the 16th November 2014 at Steel Blue Oval in Bassendean. General Motors Owners Day (GMOD) is Western Australia's premier showcase event for all makes and models of vehicles produced under the General Motors banner.

 

This year's GMOD will showcase more than 450 of Western Australia's best presented Holdens, Chevrolets, Pontiacs, Buicks, Cadillac, Oldsmobile, Vauxhalls, Camaro's, GMC and many other GM branded vehicles, attracting car enthusiasts and connoisseurs from all over the State.

 

Non judged $10, non judged with t-shirt $25, judged $40 includes free t-shirt. Judged entrants strictly limited to 125. Entry fee covers vehicle, driver, one other adult passenger and up to two children. Closing date for entries is 7th November 2014.

 

Sunday set up time will be from 6am to 9.30am. Judging will commence at 9.30am and the owner or a representative must be present with the vehicle to give the judges access.

On Sunday 16th November 2014 spectators will be treated to a smorgasbord of American muscle cars, historic Holdens, flathead Fords and many other classics in what is proving to be one of the most popular road trips for auto enthusiasts in Perth.

 

Open to all pre 1978 hot rods, customs and American muscle cars. Entrants $5 per car which includes entry to the National Park and one lucky number in the big prize draw. Enter Yanchep National Park between 9.30 - 10.30am via the northern gate which is 3km north of main park entry.

 

There is a Show n Shine at Yanchep National Park on the lawns so come along and enjoy a picnic or food and drinks are also available at the Yanchep Pub.

Celebration of the Motorcar will be returning to the picturesque grounds of the Cottesloe Civic Centre on Sunday, November 16. 

120 specially invited cars - the creme de la creme of Western Australia's prestige, exotic and classic cars will be exhibited.

 Live classical music, refreshments on site. Gates will open to the public between 10am and 3pm.
