The Ballarat Festival of Motoring is from 2nd to 9th November, 2014 at Ballarat Mining Exchange and Ballarat Airport.
Thousands of vehicle lovers with their cars and motorcycles are expected to flock to the city to be part of a spectacular nine day historic sports car, racing car and motorcycle celebration of the city's golden age of motor sport at the Ballarat Festival of Motoring.
Highlights of the Festival will include standing start 400 metre timed sprints and parades of historic racing and sports cars around the majority of the original 1940 to 60's airfield based circuit, with up to 100 cars taking part.

The Hobsons Bay Mens Shed Motoring Group will open the Shed between 10:00 am to 3:00 pm on 2 November, 2014 at Hobsons Bay Men’s Shed, 280 Queen St, Altona Vic 3018 to show their cars and talk the torque.
All public are welcome to this free monthly event.
Friends and Visitors, bring and show your Classic or Custom Car or Motorbike, or just come in to have a look around and a chat to the owners and enthusiasts (vehicles will be shown not judged).
Sausage Sizzle on the day, with Coffee/Tea/Soft drinks available. Perhaps make this a family Picnic Day at the Shed - bring the family and friends. Complimentary guided tours of the Mens Shed Complex are available on request. You might want to considering joining the motoring group or the shed for other activities.
Please come along and support this local initiative – funds raised from catering supports the aims of the shed to provide a well received facility for the surrounding community.

The 22nd Johns Rod and Custom Picnic is held on 2 November, 2014 at Sandown Raceway, 591-659 Princes Highway, Springvale. The festivities begin at Sandown Park Raceway from 9am for entrants, and 10am for the public. Hot Rods, kustoms, classic & vintage cars, motorcycles and lowrider bikes on display, rockabilly music festival, model car show, kustom kulture exhibition, and much more.
At the PICNIC we’ll be graced by the presence of knockout rides from as far away as Queensland and Western Australia, and enthusiasts from the USA, Europe, and New Zealand are making the trek to be part of this ongoing Rod & Kustom extravaganza.
For this year we won’t be taking pre entries, so it’s just turn up on the day with your pre 1966 hot rod, kustom, or classic chrome bumper equipped vehicle and join in the fun and games. Entry fees will remain unchanged at $25 for driver only & $35 for a family pass. The sole aim of the event is to promote the fun in Rodding!!!
