Australia Classic 2015
Southern Esplanade Cairns Pier Car Park, Cairns
20 – 21 June, 2015 (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

The Australia Classic is on 20th and 21st, June 2015. Cairns hosts Australia’s signature precision rally for the third time in 2015. These races are not about speed and taking risks; Australia Classic follows the “1/100 regularity rally” format of gentlemen’s racing that is extremely popular in Europe. Participants drive a total of 650 kms across a whole weekend on the most stunning roads of tropical north Queensland.

From Cairns Pier Car Park” Start Gate will be erected, and this is where the whole fleet takes off from in the morning and returns in the evening both days. (Other than that, the event will be on the road for 330kms each day before returning to Cairns for the evenings).

The Australia Classic series is held on public roads alongside regular traffic, keeping all road rules. Owners of expensive and beautiful classic vehicles will not have to risk damage or injury, instead the objective is to be on time to the 100th of the second.

For the “Classic Class” any registered vehicle made prior to 1986 is eligible to enter, whereas the “Open Class” welcomes the entry of replicas, hot-rods and supercars on individual approval.

Cost: Gold Coin Donation.
