The Leukaemia Foundation is offering owners of these great vehicles (replicas accepted) the opportunity to enjoy an Aussie Muscle Car Run from Tuesday 23rd June to Friday 26th June 2015.
This run will take entrants on 875 kilometres of bitumen roads around a broad sweep of Northern Territory country towns to enjoy the hospitality, the scenery, mixing with like minded enthusiasts and of course, the sheer pleasure of the drive.
It is not a competition event, it is a week long cruise event and opportunity to show off your car to a wide cross section of South Australians. For your entrance fee and sponsorship funding, the Aussie Muscle Car Run organisers will include food, accommodation and back up mechanical facilities so you simply enjoy the tour. Your entry fee and sponsorship will in turn assist the Leukaemia Foundation's Vision to Cure and Mission to Care.

Shifting Gear: Design, Innovation and the Australian Car
The Ian Potter Centre, NGV Australia
23-28 June, 2015 (10:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
The Shifting Gear: Design, Innovation and the Australian Car [VIC] is from 23rd to 28th June, 2015 at The Ian Potter Centre, NGV Australia. Celebrate Australia’s proud history of automobile design and engineering with this new exhibition at NGV Australia.
Shifting Gear: Design, Innovation and the Australian Car reflects on the heyday of the Australian car industry by presenting some of our nation’s most iconic vehicles as objects of art and design. It also looks to the future of the automobile industry in this country and the shift from manufacturing, which has primarily serviced a local market, to being a global contributor through specialist expertise.
The exhibition traces the development of the family car from its earliest form, as a steam-powered ‘horseless carriage’, through to its present-day role as a major design object and highly refined and efficient means of transport.
It presents the stories behind the development of some of the great Australian vehicles and reveals the designers who styled them. The exhibition also celebrates the significant contribution Australian designers and engineers have made, and continue to make, to the car industry through specialist design capacity and expert knowledge.
Entry Fee for adult $15, family $41, child $7, member $11 and group discount $13.50.
