VWMA Drags 2016 is being held on 1st-2nd October, 2016 at the Warwick Dragstrip, Morgan Park Sporting Complex, Warwick.
Welcome to VW Warwick, an all VW drag racing weekend. This is the eleventh year for Warwick, and the event has grown into Australia's premier VW motorsport weekend.
The weekend programme for Warwick starts differently this year with a Dyno session at the track on Friday evening. Diesel Tune are bringing along their mobile dyno for a number of invited and guest drag cars to run some figures on the rollers. All are welcome to come along and watch the action.
The traditional Saturday morning street parade and static display in the Warwick CBD at Leslie Park will be held from 9.30am -11am. This is an excellent opportunity for all VWs, competing or spectating, to showcase their cars to the Warwick public. It will also constitute some judging for the Show'n'Shine on Sunday.
VW Warwick is an 1/8th mile track, a perfect introduction for the novice, yet long enough to entice the professionals to go hard. If you have never tried drag racing, but have always harbored a desire to give it a try, these all VW race meets provide a non-threatening environment, where you can learn at your own pace and collect some useful tips from the experienced racers. Classes cover Aircooled, Watercooled, VW Bodied Other Engine, VW Specials (ie Buggies) and Trikes.

| Bop and jive your way into the Redland Showgrounds to celebrate two decades of the GreazeFest Kustom Kulture Festival over a three-day event that will bring back nostalgic scenes of the 1950s.
Join passionate rockabilly and hot rod enthusiasts in a celebration of all things vintage. Setting the scene will be legendary Californian band, The Paladins and Tennessee country king, Jason Lee Wilson – joined on the music bill by over 20 local rockabilly and rock n roll bands.
Cool cars, pinup pageants, lowrider cycles, kustom art shows and workshops, tiki carving, jive dancing, local and international art and vintage markets will also feature at a festival that has earned a reputation as the Southern Hemisphere’s most exciting Kustom Kulture event.
