The annual Street Machine Summernats Car Festival is being held on 5th-8th January, 2016 at the Exhibition Park (Epic), Northbourne Avenue, Canberra.
The annual Street Machine Summernats Car Festival is Australia’s biggest horse power party. Every year up to 1500 of the toughest Australian elite street machines descend on Exhibition Park to show off their love of the street machine to an enthusiastic crowd of over 85,000 people.
The Summernats delivers three and a half days of high octane extreme auto action including Australia’s top street machine judging competition, the world’s best burnout battle, precision driving demos, horsepower heroics, and more. It’s all set against a backdrop of burnt rubber, rock and roll, and one of Australia’s biggest motor retail trade shows as we search for the Street Machine Summernats Grand Champion.
So much more than a motor show, the Street Machine Summernats is a celebration of the street machine lifestyle and the people who live it. Whether you know nothing about cars, or you can talk about them from the moment you wake up till the moment you got to sleep, the Summernats is Australia’s best place to party in January.

| Bop and jive your way into the Redland Showgrounds to celebrate two decades of the GreazeFest Kustom Kulture Festival over a three-day event that will bring back nostalgic scenes of the 1950s.
Join passionate rockabilly and hot rod enthusiasts in a celebration of all things vintage. Setting the scene will be legendary Californian band, The Paladins and Tennessee country king, Jason Lee Wilson – joined on the music bill by over 20 local rockabilly and rock n roll bands.
Cool cars, pinup pageants, lowrider cycles, kustom art shows and workshops, tiki carving, jive dancing, local and international art and vintage markets will also feature at a festival that has earned a reputation as the Southern Hemisphere’s most exciting Kustom Kulture event.
