The Fine Iron Rod & Custom Club of Ipswich are holding their 24th annual Hot Rod Classic Car & Bike Show Swap Meet on Sunday 21st May 2017 at the Ebbw Vale Soccer Grounds.
Swap meet sites $5, setup 5am and public entry 6am. Car show entry 8am, $5 per person for show and swap. $5 car judging and trophy presentation at 12pm. Mega cruise to lap Ipswich at 1pm. ASRF Sanction #SA 112-03-2017.

The Festival of Elegance Water Wheels Wings is being held on the Gold Coast from Friday May 19 - Sunday May 21st 2017.
The event starts with the Excellence Awards Night at Brocks Garage at Dreamworld from 7pm till 11.30pm. Saturday Trivia Tour and Hill Climb Challenge kicking off at Zarraffa's at Hope Island. Marshalling is at 8.30am on Saturday May 20, ready for the Youth at Risk Trivia Tour. The event is open to all street cars and classic motor vehicles from yesterday.
After lunch we'll be having a Hill Climb timed event to Mt Tamborine, so please note it is not a car race. You'll nominate your time over this distance and the closest one to their time wins the Hill Climb trophy for 2017. The Show and Shine is on Sunday May 21st at the Coolibah Downs Private Estate in Nerang from 10am till 3pm.

Independent Riders Show N Shine is being held at the Fraser Coast Wildlife Sanctuary in Maryborough on the 21st May 2017.
The 3rd annual Motors in May Show and Shine offers arguably the best trophies on the coast with 12 categories, 6 car, 6 bike voted on by the people attending. Raffles with cash prizes, sausage sizzle, markets plus much more.
Registration from 7.30am, $5 per vehicle until 11.30am, presentations around 12ish. All proceeds going to the Fraser Coast Wildlife Sanctuary.

National Motoring Heritage Day Picnic in the Park is being held on Sunday 21st May 2017 in Queens Park, Ipswich. Hosted to Qld Historic Motoring Council Inc. Free entry, no registration, just turn up.
Come along, display your vehicle and enjoy the entertainment. BYO picnic, food and coffee vans. Music, face painters, trade displays and historic bus tours.
All vehicles are to be in position by 9:30am with no vehicle movement until 2pm. If your club is erecting a marquee, there are to be no pegs or stakes into the ground. Marquee’s must be weighted down, not pegged down.

| Bop and jive your way into the Redland Showgrounds to celebrate two decades of the GreazeFest Kustom Kulture Festival over a three-day event that will bring back nostalgic scenes of the 1950s.
Join passionate rockabilly and hot rod enthusiasts in a celebration of all things vintage. Setting the scene will be legendary Californian band, The Paladins and Tennessee country king, Jason Lee Wilson – joined on the music bill by over 20 local rockabilly and rock n roll bands.
Cool cars, pinup pageants, lowrider cycles, kustom art shows and workshops, tiki carving, jive dancing, local and international art and vintage markets will also feature at a festival that has earned a reputation as the Southern Hemisphere’s most exciting Kustom Kulture event.
