The Newcastle Bikers for Kids Toy Run is the oldest annual event of its kind in Australia. The event commenced in 1978 with around 20 bikes. The event now in it’s 39th year, sees over 3500 riders of all ages take part, growing more & more in popularity each year.
The Bikers for Kids Toy Run is totally focused on providing toys & support for Hunter kids & families. The Toy Run on average now benefits The Salvation Army to the tune of some $35,000 worth of Toys and $45,000 in cash donations, badge sales, site fees & catering, reaching some 1000 families in the immediate Newcastle / Lake Macquarie and Hunter Valley area.
