Carnival Classic Show'N'Shine

The Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers and Darling Downs Veteran and Vintage Motor Club host the Carnival Classic Show 'N' Shine in Queens Park, Toowoomba, at the beginning of the Carnival of Flowers in September. This year that event will be held on 19th September.
Entry for vehicles is open from 7.30am and costs $10 per car (or $20 for two or more). Entry for the public is free. All money raised goes to a local charity.
There are sixteen categories available with excellent trophies, as well as Best of Show and People's Choice.

- Best Pre-War (Vehicles built between 1931 and 1939)
- Best Forties (Vehicles built between 1940 and 1949)
- Best Fifties (Vehicles built between 1950 and 1959)
- Best Sixties (Vehicles built between 1960 and 1969)Best Seventies (Vehicles built between 1970 and 1979)
- Best Eighties (Vehicles built between 1980 and 1989)
- Best Caravan (Thirty years or older)
- Best Original Condition Vehicle (Unrestored, Thirty years or older)
- Best Sportscar (Thirty years or older)
- Best Light Commercial (Thirty years or older)
- Best Classic Motorbike (Thirty years or older)
- Best Pushbike (Thirty years or older)
- Best Hotrod (Based on a Pre 1949 model)
- Best Street Machine (Based on a Post 1948 model)
