Highway Thunder Convoy for Kids
Broadwater Parklands, Gold Coast Highway, Southport

Highway Thunder is a convoy of thousands of cars, trucks, motorbikes and other roadworthy vehicles travelling to Parklands Gold Coast under a police escort. All vehicles will proudly display “Protect our Kids” car flags in a show of support for the victims of child sexual assault on 10th August, 2014.
There are two departure points - Yatala Drive In, 100 Stapylton-Jacobs Well Road and Tugun, corner Kitchener St and Coolangatta Road. Leaving at 8am in convoy to the Gold Coast, 9:30am vehicles begin to arrive at Parklands Gold Coast, 10am family fun day begins – live entertainment, activities for the kids, prizes and more! 12.30pm Show & Shine presentation and prizes awarded.
Entry fees are only $15 per vehicle. Family fun includes face painters, balloon artists, rides for the children, food, drink, car show n shine, truck show n shine and bike show n shine. Entry form available on website.
