Picnic at Hanging Rock is being held on 14 February, 2016 at the Hanging Rock Reserve, Woodend, VIC.
On Sunday 14th February a muted roar will return to the Hanging Rock district as more than 2,500 Classic Cars, Commercials and Motorcycles congregate at the picturesque Hanging Rock Reserve for the 29th Annual Picnic at Hanging Rock. From humble beginnings, "The Picnic" has become a 'must do' event in Victoria's Classic Motoring Calendar.
Planned from the beginning, the day is organised up to be a fun family day - whereby once you have entered the reserve there is no need to keep spending - all entertainment is free. You are encouraged to bring your own Picnic Lunch, and for this day in the year if you have the enthusiasm you can walk to the top of the mysterious 'Hanging Rock' without charge. Cost: $20 per car, $5 per Motorcycle.
