The Adelaide Motorsport Festival is being held over the 17th November to the 20th November 2016 and this year has three main sections to cater all car enthusiasts - the Prima Tour on the 17th November, Classic Adelaide Rally on the 17th to 19th November and the Victoria Park Sprint which is being held on the 19th and 20th of November 2016.
The Prima Tour is the perfect event to do with your partner and has cars, famous faces, driving experiences, superb scenery, food and wine by notable gourmet gurus. Covering 335 kilometres it runs from 8am to 6pm.
In 2016, the Classic Adelaide Rally returns as a major component of the Adelaide Motorsport Festival, recreating the iconic and world renowned tarmac rally of South Australia that was held between 1996 and 2009.
The Victoria Park Sprint is a virtual “museum-in-motion”. A two-day festival that draws upon South Australia’s rich motorsport history and celebrates and re-enacts motorsport competition of a by-gone era.
Held on a section of the historic Adelaide Grand Prix Circuit, the Victoria Park Sprint is Formula One focused and rounded out with a diverse field of historic touring cars, sports cars and classic motorcycles as well as displays from some of the greatest classic cars from across the years as well as selected modern categories. The on track action is competitive and timed and sees over 220 cars on track in over 17 categories.
The Adelaide Motorsport Festival is true and authentic to South Australia’s rich motor racing heritage whilst creating new event experiences with relevance and meaning to the Australian motor racing enthusiast.

The Shannons Yankalilla Cruise is being held on 20 November, 2016 at the Yankalilla Memorial Park Oval, Main South Road, Yankalilla.
As in previous years, the Cruise will depart Castle Plaza at 10am. Vehicles will travel along South Road, then via the Southern Expressway to Aldinga, through Myponga and on to Yankalilla. The venue for the day is the picturesque Yankalilla Memorial Park Oval. Activities on the oval will start at 10:30am.
This year's Cruise will feature plenty of music so bring your dancing shoes and dance the day away on our dance floors. There will be lots of fine food available with drinks available at the bar. There is no need to pre-register your vehicle for the Cruise, just roll up on the day. Cost of entry is $15 per vehicle, $5 for bikes and walk ins. Please ensure that you get to Castle Plaza in plenty of time to purchase your pre-paid entry stickers.
