The Myrtleford Show n Shine and Swap Meet is being held on Saturday 1st October 2016 at the Myrtleford Showgrounds.
Hosted by the Myrtleford Rotary Club in conjunction with the Chopped and Changed Kustom Car Club Myrtleford the event is one to all cars, trucks, boats, hot rods and rat rods.
Gates open 8am. Vendor setup from 6am. Catering on site, bar, helicopter rides. Entry $5 adults, children under 12 free. Themed 50/60's competition - dress for the occasion, prizes awarded. Proceeds go to local community projects.

The Chopped Rod and Custom is being held on 30 September-2 October, 2016 at the Newstead Racecourse, Racecourse Road, Newstead.
Three days of dirt drags, hot rods, customs, bobbers, choppers, 25+ bands, tiki palace, cocktail & cabin bars, and more. Chopped is drag racing where it started in the dirt!
A throw back in time to a 1950s/60s HopUp Carnival! Hundreds of cars and bikes rattled by the sounds of 25+ bands belting the roots of rock music to thousands of rockers, petrol heads, hipsters and greasers.
Head to head two-lane dirt drags with pre '65 style hot rods, customs, bobbers and choppers. Island infused drinking among tiki’s, palms, bamboo or the smoky sipping style of a rustic wood fire cabin. Rain, Hail, Shine.
