The Romsey Swap Meet, Car, Motorcycle and Commercial Show is being held on Sunday 9th November, 2014  at the Romsey Recreation Reserve.

 

Car and bike parts, collectibles and memorabilia welcome. BBQ, snacks, refreshments and breakfast available from 6am. Enter on the day. $10 per vehicle includes driver, $5 passenger and bikes. Sites $15 (6x8 metres) and site holders from 6am. Lookers $5 from 8am.

Bright's Iconic Rod Run is being held on November 7th to 9th November,2014. If you love your car, if it was built pre 77, and you want to show it off, bring it to Bright.

 

Bright has welcomed street rods, classic and custom vehicles on the second weekend in November for the past 22 years. This event attracts entrants from all around Australia and spectators from all parts of the globe. And in 2014 we will again make your Rod Run weekend one to remember.

 

With the usual Show and Shine (using independent judges), the pin up comp (hosted by Kat Creasy), swap meet (run by Bright Vehicle Preservation Society), live music (bands tba), the poker run (run by the Do Dahs), trade shows, dedicated cruise circuit, drive in, carnival and much more on offer.

This year, on November 7th-9th, 2014, the Victorian Historic Racing Register presents 40+ events over two days. Four hundred racing sports and touring cars from yesteryear including F5000’s from New Zealand to challenge the Aussies.

 

Special tributes to two motor racing icons – the late Sir Jack Brabham (World Champion 1959, ’60, ’66) and the late Harry Firth. Hundreds of classic cars on static display and special on-track parade of Brabham racing cars.

 

Entry Fee: Friday November 7 free, Saturday November 8 $35, Sunday November 9 $45, weekend Pass $70 (pensioner concession available). Historic Sandown is supporting the Wesley Mission and the meeting is presented by the Victorian Historic Racing Register, assisted by the MG Car Club of Victoria.

The 2014 Historic Commercial Vehicle Show will be held on 9th November 2014 at Yarra Glen Racecourse this year and offers more space to fit in many more trucks, free BBQs and overnight camping. Free overnight camping on the Saturday night before the display with showers available.

 

Admission $10 adults, kids under 14 free.

The British Sports Cars and Bikes display day is being held at the Gippsland Vehicle Collection on Sunday 9th November 2014 to February 2015. Many other fantastic vehicles on display.

 

Museum entrance $8 with children under 15 free. Bring your vehicle to create our display for the day, all welcome. Trophy for best presented vehicles. Refreshments available.

The Victoria State Van Titles are being held on Sunday 9th November 2014 at Caribbean Gardens. Enter from Ferntree Gully Road (MEL 72 G7) or Stud Road (MEL 72 G8). Gates open from 8.30am to 6pm.

 

Judged vehicles to be set up by 10am. Entry to Caribbean Gardens $2.50 adults, child under 13 $1 - pay at the gate. Judged vans $20. BBQ available on site. Trophies on offer with presentation at 3pm.
