Naracoorte Swap Meet

Held annually on the first weekend in May since 1982, the Naracoorte Swap meet is one of the largest country Swap meets. It will be fully catered by local charitable organizations and hosted by the Naracoorte Historical Vehicle Club.
Indoor and Outdoor sites selling parts for cars, motor bikes and engines, books, magazines, antiques, craft and plants. Show ‘n’ Shine of Veterans, Vintage and Classic cars, as well as Hotrods will be judged from 10am, presentations at 1pm on Saturday. Vintage Tractors and engines displays.
Public Entry: Adults $5, Children under 16 free. Site holders: Indoor $40, Outdoor $20. Trading 7am – 5pm Saturday, 7am – 1pm Sunday. Site holders may camp on site however they must leave the site clean. Strict noise curfew will be enforced at night. No dogs allowed. Second hand electrical goods must abide by the Australian Standards requiring a safety check by an electrician and have the appropriate sticker attached.
Full catering includes a sit down BBQ breakfast at dawn on both Saturday and Sunday. Exhibitors can enter the area from noon on Friday until 11pm and from 6am on Sunday.

The Ipswich Festival of Cars is on 2nd and 3rd May, 2015 at Queensland Raceway, Champions Way, Willowbank.
Join the party during this years Ipswich Festival of Cars at Queensland Raceway for the Ipswich Festival of Cars. Featuring the Willowbank 300 - Round 2 of the Tri-State Australian Endurance Championship and the Group N Historic Touring Cars it is set to be a weekend of thrills and spills!
Featuring the Willowbank 300 endurance race, Historic Touring Cars (Group N), QTCC, Italian Challenge, HQ's, QR Sports & Sedans.
Gates open from 7:30am, on track action from 8:30am. Saturday adult $20, children 12 and under free. Sunday adult $30, children 12 and under free. Weekend adult $40, children 12 and under free.

British Classics Tour

In appreciation of great British motor heritage, the Historic Motor Vehicles Club, Victor Harbor is proud to present the British Classics Tour on Sunday, May 3rd 2015. Entry is open to members of motor vehicle clubs and individual owners. Supported by the City of Victor Harbor and major sponsors, it features a wide variety of British origin vehicles and has become a popular event for South Australia’s British motoring enthusiasts and spectators.
It begins with the assembly of vehicles at 9.30am in the Esplanade Foreshore Car Park of Victor Harbor with a Devonshire morning tea for entrants at Warland Reserve. The Tour start is at 11am at Albert Place in Victor Harbor and proceeds on a special route of the picturesque and spectacular Fleurieu Peninsula coast and countryside. Vehicles return to the finish for display.
Trophies will be awarded for best presentation, best saloon, best convertible, best commercial vehicle, best family car, best motorcycle and best motoring fashion. The featured car marque of the day will be from the Rootes Group. Closing date for entries is Friday, April 17th 2015. Entry Fee $10 per car and driver, $5 per passenger.

Rock on Saturday, Rev on Sunday- a weekend of great rock ‘n roll at the Wallaroo Town Hall on Saturday night followed by the inaugural Aussie Muscle Car Sprints at the Copper Coast Airstrip on Sunday.
‘Rock for The Sailing Club’ on Saturday 2nd May 2015 at the Wallaroo Town Hall with band "The Dally Rockers"from Adelaide. Alcohol is available (no BYO) and guests can bring a basket supper if they wish. Cost per ticket is $20 and funds raised go to the new building fund for the Wallaroo Sailing Club.
The Aussie Muscle Car Sprints will be held at the Copper Coast Airstrip from 10am – 4pm. This event will feature primarily classic muscle cars from the 1963-77 Bathurst era performing timed 500 metre sprints along the runway. Early entries indicate the ever popular Falcon GT’s, Toranas, Monaros and Chargers will be present in numbers. An area for a Show ‘n Shine has been allocated for enthusiasts wishing to display their vehicle but not wanting to compete in the sprints.
