The Wellington Vintage Fair and Swap Meet is an annual event which is set to be held on Sunday, March 5 in 2017. The fair is one of the largest and most popular events in Wellington and is increasingly becomming known throughout the nation as one of outstanding quality which attracts vintage vehicles from right across Australia.
Entering the showground on fair day and witnessing the array of vehicles which includes cars, motorboikes, truckst, tractors and steam engines, is an amazing sight for any enthusiast. The swap meet at the Vintage Fair is the best this side of the Blue Mountains with a huge area allocated to swappers' stalls. You will need your walking shoes and a good eye as you explore the treasure trove of old wares, vehicle parts and bric-a-brac.
Swappers $25 site, extra site $15 - no pre bookings. One free admission for vehicles on display. Admission adults $10, school children $5. Gates open at 6am, judging 12 noon.

The Thirlmere Festival of Steam is Australia's largest rail heritage festival and is being held on the 4th and 5th March 2017 in Thirlmere.
With all the fun of a country fair, the Festival is a fantastic family day out featuring over 170 market stalls, loads of adrenalin pumping amusement rides for teens, interactive kids activities, an animal farm, train rides, face painting, roving entertainment, helicopter joy flights and a large display of vintage steam machinery, classic cars and hot rods!
At 1pm, the village comes alive with the event’s official Street Parade. Featuring bands, floats, performers, classic vehicles and emergency services – the parade always attracts non-stop cheers and waves as it travels around each of our festival streets.
When it all gets too much and you feel the need for a break, grab your favourite carnival food and head to the ever popular live Entertainment Stage. ‘Music In The Park‘ runs from 9.30am – 4pm and features a brilliant line-up of bands, solo artists and outstanding local acts.

Hot Rods and Harleys is an Invitation Only indoor car and bike show catering for Hot Rods, Customs and Custom Harleys.
The show will be made up of a unique mix of Elite Show Rods, Rat Rods, Home-built Rods as well as custom cars - all of which possess the same attribute: IMPACT! On the bike side of the event, entries will be offered to owners of custom Harleys, Choppers and even some fully restored early Harleys from the 40's and 50's. We will also have a great mix of traders on offer as well dealing with all kinds of hardcore parts, memorabilia, clothing and much more.

A one day extravaganza of the best rock n' roll, rockabilly and vintage culture the South Coast has to offer on Sunday 5th of March at The Ryan's Hotel in Thirroul.
Kicks off at 10am so come and browse our vintage and retro markets, come and see our vintage veteran and classic car display, there will be a best dressed of the festival parade. Sit and listen or dance to our 4 live bands featuring No Brakes, Steve Edmonds Mescalero, Voo Doo Rhythm Shakers and Johnny and the Easyriders.
