The 3rd Annual Southern Cross Charities Show n Shine and Swap Meet is being held on the 20th May 2017 at the Laidley Showgrounds in Hayes Street.
Gates open at 5am. All entries to be registered by 9am, hot food and drinks from 6am with presentation at 1pm. Public entry gold coin donation. Entrants cars $10, bikes $10, market stalls and swap sites $10, trade stalls $50.

Festival of Elegance Water Wheels Wings
Coolibah Downs Private Estate, mt. Nathan Road, Nerang

The Festival of Elegance Water Wheels Wings is being held on the Gold Coast from Friday May 19 - Sunday May 21st 2017.
The event starts with the Excellence Awards Night at Brocks Garage at Dreamworld from 7pm till 11.30pm. Saturday Trivia Tour and Hill Climb Challenge kicking off at Zarraffa's at Hope Island. Marshalling is at 8.30am on Saturday May 20, ready for the Youth at Risk Trivia Tour. The event is open to all street cars and classic motor vehicles from yesterday.
After lunch we'll be having a Hill Climb timed event to Mt Tamborine, so please note it is not a car race. You'll nominate your time over this distance and the closest one to their time wins the Hill Climb trophy for 2017. The Show and Shine is on Sunday May 21st at the Coolibah Downs Private Estate in Nerang from 10am till 3pm.

The 2017 Wheels of Wamboin – Show & Shine – will be held on Saturday 20th May 2017 from 9.00am to 1.00pm. The event will be held at the Wamboin Hall, Bingley Way Wamboin (off Norton Road via Sutton Road).
Last year over 100 cars were on display. The beauty of the Wheels of Wamboin is the huge variety from all marques in a truly country atmosphere. All sorts of automotive machines including old, new and interesting cars, motor bikes, trucks and even tractors are welcome. We will also have the stationary engine display on the day.
If you are interested in displaying your automotive masterpiece please just turn up on the day. Display entry is a gold coin donation and swap tables (provided) are $5 (remember to bring your cash as there is no EFTPOS out in the sticks). As per the past years there is only one trophy for the day “People’s Choice”.
A bonus on the day is the opportunity to pick up some healthy bargains at the monthly home produce markets. There will also be freshly brewed coffee and the local Wamboin RFS will also be running a BBQ. It will be a great day for a short run out to the country to stretch those legs.

| Bop and jive your way into the Redland Showgrounds to celebrate two decades of the GreazeFest Kustom Kulture Festival over a three-day event that will bring back nostalgic scenes of the 1950s.
Join passionate rockabilly and hot rod enthusiasts in a celebration of all things vintage. Setting the scene will be legendary Californian band, The Paladins and Tennessee country king, Jason Lee Wilson – joined on the music bill by over 20 local rockabilly and rock n roll bands.
Cool cars, pinup pageants, lowrider cycles, kustom art shows and workshops, tiki carving, jive dancing, local and international art and vintage markets will also feature at a festival that has earned a reputation as the Southern Hemisphere’s most exciting Kustom Kulture event.
