Ross Auto Classic 2017
Historic Tasmanian Midlands Village Of Ross
12 March, 2017
Ross Auto Classic will occur on Sunday 12 March 2017, in the historic Tasmanian Midlands village of Ross.
This new, free to see event, is an exciting addition to the national calendar and allows vehicle owners and drivers, event officials and spectators, as well as enthusiasts and passersby, the opportunity to participate in a celebration of more than 100 years of automotive history, and features two categories of competition.
Located within the Ross Recreation Ground, the Show and Shine will see a display of rare and highly desirable, classic and modern vehicles, assembled for viewing by the general public, and assessment by judges for converted awards.
To be conducted seven times during the day and held on a closed road course, the Competition stage features an exciting mix of corners, straights, elevation changes and even a train crossing - iconic highlights of the former Ross Town Stage.
With various vehicles of significance being prepared especially for this for this event, some rarely seen by the public, the Competition is a perfect way to see and hear the diverse range of aspirational classic and modern, sports and grand touring cars, all being driven the way that their designers intended.
