Bonjour Perth and French Car Festival
Ozone Reserve, Corner Of Riverside Drive And Adelaide Terrace In Perth
22 October, 2016 (10:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
The Bonjour Perth & French Car Festival is being held on Saturday 22nd October from 9.30am at the Ozone Reserve near Langley Park in Perth .
Each year in Perth, the French-speaking community gathers to celebrate and share with Western Australia everything about French culture: food, music, art but also activities such as pétanque, bubble soccer and more. French cars have a long and varied history in Western Australia with some of the very first cars ever to drive here being French. Did you also know that the very first car to circumnavigate Australia was in fact a Citroen 5CV in 1925!
Over 100 of Western Australia’s finest French cars will be on display at Bonjour Perth including Vintage automobiles from the turn of the 20th century right through to the latest in new car technology with dealership displays from Renault, Peugeot & Citroen.
The display will be as diverse as France itself with representation from the French and Fantastic Automobile Club, Association of Citroen Enthusiasts, Peugeot Car Club of WA, SIVA (Special Interest Vehicle Association), Simca Car Club of Australia & the Veteran Car Club WA. See cars spanning in age from well over 100 years old alongside technical displays and demonstration from the local French car clubs.
Brands represented will include Peugeot, Renault, Citroen, Simca, Panhard, Alpine, De Dion, Mors & much more.
