The May In The Wide Bay 2015 is on 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th May, 2015.
May in the Wide Bay goes into its 8th year in Sunny Hervey Bay, just 3 hours north of Brisbane.
This is a “Long weekend Run “, commencing on Friday 1st May thru to Monday 4th May 2015
Plenty of Live Entertainment, Free Stuff, Cruises, Games & plenty of meals included in the entry fee
This year's benefactor is eight year old Sharkier Lowrie who suffers from Spastic Diplegia Cerebral Palsy. "Sharky "as she is know to her friends cannot walk without the aid of her K frame .
Her wish is to be able to walk unaided. She has been accepted into the Thera-suit Therapy programme but needs $9500 to be able to participate and Wide Bay Rodders is determined to get her as close to that figure as possible over the course of the weekend.
The Thera-suit programme has the ability to grant Sharky her wish.

Fassifern Fifties Festival at Aratula State School was created to celebrate all things mid century. From cars to music, the dress style, dancing and the lifestyle! Classics, Rods, Muscle Cars and retro bikes all welcome.
With over 5 acres of Car Show and Shine, 3 acres of market stalls and 15 acres of parking there is room to move, dance, shop, eat and stare lovingly and nostalgically at the stunning old cars – and the girls are pretty too!
There will be trophies created by a local artist for the Show and Shine, prizes for the pinup and hula hoop comp, rides for the kids and much, much more! Only 25 minutes from Willowbank, this festival offers more space than you can imagine, and the views of the Southern Border Ranges are spectacular.

| Bop and jive your way into the Redland Showgrounds to celebrate two decades of the GreazeFest Kustom Kulture Festival over a three-day event that will bring back nostalgic scenes of the 1950s.
Join passionate rockabilly and hot rod enthusiasts in a celebration of all things vintage. Setting the scene will be legendary Californian band, The Paladins and Tennessee country king, Jason Lee Wilson – joined on the music bill by over 20 local rockabilly and rock n roll bands.
Cool cars, pinup pageants, lowrider cycles, kustom art shows and workshops, tiki carving, jive dancing, local and international art and vintage markets will also feature at a festival that has earned a reputation as the Southern Hemisphere’s most exciting Kustom Kulture event.
