The Swedish Grand Prix
In 1975, the Martini Brabham BT HB-Fords of
Carlos Reutemann and Carlos Pace appeared to have the race in their pockets at mid-distance, but Pace spun off the track and then Reutemann's
tyres gave problems, allowing Austrian
Niki Lauda to take an unexpected win in his Ferrari 3 I2T. The 1976
Grand Prix was one of the few races where the Tyrrell P34 six-wheelers really came into their own. The track definitely suited the cars; Scheckter won, gaining his second GP win at Anderstorp, with Depailler second as in 1974.
