Howdy, I have a bit of an odd car that I am hoping to sell through your web site but I have no idea what price to put on it?
It is an XC Cobra Sedan, they were released by Bib Stillwell Ford in Adelaide and from what I can work out there were between 15 and 20 of them built, they were the GS model with rally pac so has the nice interior. This one has been blasted back to bare then painted nicely in 2pack, there was virtually zero rust to deal with as it has been a show car for many years apparently and has done only around 130,000 k’s.
The bib spoiler on the boot has been very nicely moulded on and also the reverse scoop on the bonnet, interior is pretty much perfect, the engine is the standard 302 but not matching numbers and runs sweet, C4 auto, new twin system with extractors, 4 wheel disks etc
I have the original log books, the original owner was the Trimbole family, weather there has been any bodies in the boot I can’t tell lol.
The important thing with these vehicles is weather it has the BSS Cobra badge on the glove box and this one is probably only one of 2 or 3 in the country with the badge intact.
I noticed one for sale a year or so ago and he was asking $45,000. Weather he got this figure I have no idea. If you could give me some idea what to ask for it I will list it straight away?
