BP was active in Australia from 1920 as co-owners
of Commonwealth Oil Refineries (or C.O.R.) but
products were not marketed under the BP name
in those early years.
In 1952 BP gained outright
ownership of C.O.R. and BP supermix became avaiable.
By 1959 BP had become well established in its
own right. Characteristic colours are green and
white with the familiar BP shield logo. |
