1957 Chevy Belair, was used as the sherifs car in 1988 MGM film Mississippi Burning staring Gene Hackman & William Dafoe. Photo submitted by Lee Pearce In the last 7 years the car has been completely rebuilt inside & out but it has been done in a way we can put it back to original if we won't to. The Car has been in several movies over the years & it had had a hard life as we found out The Body & Paint was done by Sefton Smash Repairs it was a huge job but the result is unreal she is a real tidy streeter, The mouldings were also a bit of a mess but Alan MC coy from Moulding Repairs & Polishing at Riverstone took care of that they are better than new. She runing a 400HP 327 & B&M stage two T400 7x17" & 8x17" Twisted Matrix Show Wheels Front Disc Brakes. The Interior was done by John Taylor, The Trim is dark grey & light grey euro hide double bootseemed stiching with very unique patten, the boot has also been boxed & has its own unique custom design. |
