Wellington Vintage Fair and Swap Meet will take place at Wellington Showground, Showground Road, Wellington on 2 March, 2014.
The fair is one of the largest and most popular events in Wellington and is increasingly becomming known throughout the nation as one of outstanding quality which attracts vintage vehicles from right across Australia.
Entering the showground on fair day and witnessing the array of vehicles which includes cars, motorboikes, truckst, tractors and steam engines, is an amazing sight for any enthusiast. The swap meet at the Vintage Fair is the best this side of the Blue Mountains with a huge area allocated to swappers' stalls. You will need your walking shoes and a good eye as you explore the treasure trove of old wares, vehicle parts and bric-a-brac.
Swappers $25 site, extra site $15 - no pre bookings. Book market stalls with Secretary. One free admission for vehicles on display. Admission adults $10, school children $5. Gates open at 6am, judging 12 noon. Secretary: 0467 286 464.

Day of the Drags will take place at Sydney Dragway, Ferrers Rd, Eastern Creek on 1 March 2014 to 2 March 2014.
Day of the Drags features old school gassers, hot rods and classics and is open to all pre-1975 cars of Australian, American and English origin. Must be pre 1975, Slingshot, HA/GR and other old school race cars welcome.
Saturday cars racing from 11 seconds and slower, live band and rock n roll dancing from 6:30pm till late. Sunday cars racing from 10.99 and faster. Adults $25 per day, 12-16yo $15 per day, aged $15 per day. 2 day adult $45, 2 day 12-16yo $25, 2 day aged $25, under 12 free. Show'n'Shine $25 per day.
Gates open from 8am both days. Racing from 10 til 5:30pm approx. both days. Plenty of shaded seating with uninterupted views of the race track from start to finish. Free Jumpy Castle for the kids to play as long as they like. Trade stands, t-shirts and memorabilia.

The historic town of Morpeth becomes host to everybody from the motor enthusiast community for a huge show and shine day. Polish up your pride and joy.
