The Gladstone Swap Meet and Car Boot Sale is on Saturday 9th August 2014 at the Gladstone Showgrounds. 141 outdoor stalls $25, 12 indoor stalls $15.
Swap meet sites with new and used car parts, 4WD's parts, motorcycle parts, truck parts, tools, complete vehicles, NOS parts and memorabilia.
Car boot and markets with antiques & collectibles, clothes, plants & furniture, fishing gear and jewellery. Food vendors, displays, amusements and kids activities.
Come and enjoy this great family day with something for everyone, in support of The Rotary Club of Gladstone.

The Ormeau Fair is in its 8th year, 9th August, and the attendance at each year's fair has been growing rapidly and we are expecting 2014 to be the best year yet. As part of the Ormeau Fair there is a Show & Shine on Sunday 10 August 2014.
Fair organisers are offering individual owners of classic cars the opportunity to attend and show off their beauty. There is an entrance fee of $20 and judging is done by the viewing public.

Sunday, 10th August, Swap Meet from 7am and show n shine from 9am with trophies, stalls, displays, kids entertainment and live music. Trophies voted by public and presentations at 1pm. Show car entry $10, swap site $10, public gold coin donation.

Goin Country 2014 kicks off at 12:30pm - meet at Queens Park Ipswich (best access from Griffith Road, Ipswich) on 9th August 2014.
Explore the Ipswich Nature Centre. The animal enclosures contain 36 known rare and threatened species with a large quantity of significant plants and animals.
1:30pm - Then on to Fernvale. Cruise departs Queens Park at 1.30pm for a family fun packed afternoon including Hot Wheels racing, delicious Tea ‘n’ Damper, mouth watering pig on the spit meal served with freshly baked veggies and yummy desserts.
Only pre–entries will be eligible for prizes. Pre-entry cut off - last mail 4 August, 2014.

| Bop and jive your way into the Redland Showgrounds to celebrate two decades of the GreazeFest Kustom Kulture Festival over a three-day event that will bring back nostalgic scenes of the 1950s.
Join passionate rockabilly and hot rod enthusiasts in a celebration of all things vintage. Setting the scene will be legendary Californian band, The Paladins and Tennessee country king, Jason Lee Wilson – joined on the music bill by over 20 local rockabilly and rock n roll bands.
Cool cars, pinup pageants, lowrider cycles, kustom art shows and workshops, tiki carving, jive dancing, local and international art and vintage markets will also feature at a festival that has earned a reputation as the Southern Hemisphere’s most exciting Kustom Kulture event.
