Baskerville Historics is run annually and is a great weekend with both historic cars and bikes and in 2017 it is being held on the 22nd - 24th September.
Adding to the diversity of entries for this year's Historics is colourful Victorian, Bernie Mylon, who has entered his Morris special. Bernie is the original owner and builder of the car which dates back to the 1960's.
Make sure you have a chat to Bernie - he has the most amazing story to tell about the time he spent as a mechanic on the Paul Hawkins Ford GT40 - chassis AMGT-2 (an ex-Alan Mann car).
Bernie was the chief mechanic and sometimes test driver and followed the car through its career in races in England, Spain and Argentina. He also spent time working for Lola cars building the type 142 racing car and the T70 . So many stories to tell - so few hours in the day!!
