The Bayside Vehicle Restores Club Annual Swap Meet is held on the 26th of March 2017. Entry for swap sites are just $10 which gives you a site and entry for the driver. The entry fee for shoppers and lookers is just $2 with children under 12 free.
Entry to the Ormiston Swap at the Ormiston School is from Wellington St or Dundas St East Ormiston. There are hundreds of sites selling parts for all types of vehicles so if you are looking for that special part or just cant resist a bargain be sure to come along.
This year the club is offering undercover sites in the school hall for Antiques and Collectables. It will be $30 per site with a 6m x 3m site. Bookings and enquiries to Steve Mellish 0411 516 122.

The Rust and Chrome Carshow will be held on the 26th of March 2017 at the Norwell Motorplex. Classic, muscle, chrome bumper and customs pre '78 and classic styled motorcycles welcome.
There is a Show and Shine carshow, on tar cruising sessions, 50's styled drag racing sessions, bike cruising and bike drags. Music provided by Memphis Mayhem Radio, A Pin-up Girl contest, food vans, licenced bar, trade stands and merchandise stands.
The idea of the event is that you can bring your car or bike down, compete in the show and shine, and also have a bit of fun driving and even drag with your friends in a safe relaxed venue.
Only carshow entrants will be allowed to park within the complex, spectator parking is just adjacent to the venue and is $5 so that will save you from being fined for parking on the street. Rust and Chrome is being brought to you by Aces and eight events, by enthusiasts, for enthusiasts is our motto. We are just a couple of car guys that want to take the FU out of carshows and put the FUN back in. ASRF Sanctioned event T/C 172-01-2017.

| Bop and jive your way into the Redland Showgrounds to celebrate two decades of the GreazeFest Kustom Kulture Festival over a three-day event that will bring back nostalgic scenes of the 1950s.
Join passionate rockabilly and hot rod enthusiasts in a celebration of all things vintage. Setting the scene will be legendary Californian band, The Paladins and Tennessee country king, Jason Lee Wilson – joined on the music bill by over 20 local rockabilly and rock n roll bands.
Cool cars, pinup pageants, lowrider cycles, kustom art shows and workshops, tiki carving, jive dancing, local and international art and vintage markets will also feature at a festival that has earned a reputation as the Southern Hemisphere’s most exciting Kustom Kulture event.
