The Cortina Mark One Owners Club of Australia Inc. (CMOOC) announces the Second Australian Cortina Nationals to be held over the 2017 Queens Birthday long weekend in Albury.
The First Australian Cortina Nationals was held in 2012 to mark the 50th anniversary of the Mk1 Cortina. The event was a huge success with over 220 examples of Cortina’s of all marks attending the three day event.
The Second Australian Cortina Nationals will be held over the three days of the long weekend of the 2017 Queens Birthday (9th to 11th of June 2017) with the Lake Hume Resort being the hub of the event.

To be held at Sydney Motorsport Park, Eastern Creek on Saturday June 10 – Sunday June 11 2017, The Sydney Classic Speed Festival will showcase the best of classic racing cars with a fun, 60’s/70’s themed festival atmosphere that all can enjoy.
It’s a rare opportunity for motorsport fans young and young-at-heart to view the precious metal that contributed to the ‘golden era’ of Motorsport, both on track in no less than eight race categories and a static display of rare gems from many of the country’s finest car clubs.
There will be feature sports cars from the era including Porsches, Corvettes, Alfa Romeos, Austin Healeys and MGs, and Classic Sports Racing Cars from Matich, Elfin, McLaren and Lola.

Cruise for Cerebral Palsy 2017

SS Owners Club NSW Inc will be hosting the 2017 Cruise for Cerebral Palsy from Bunnings in North Penrith, 2169 Castlereagh Road, Penrith to Penrith Paceway. The event is open to all makes and models.
All vehicles participating in the cruise must be street legal and all road laws are to be followed. A show n shine will be held at Penrith paceway with trophies to be awarded. Entertainment, food and drinks will be available at Penrith Paceway.
Pre paid entry fee $25 non refundable per vehicle . Entry fee on the day $30 per vehicle. Outbacks Steak House will be cooking up a storm with delicious steak, chicken and sausage sandwiches from noon till 3pm. Coffee van onsite, games with great prizes, gold coins required to participate. Over $2,000 of prizes to be raffled off.
South Coast DJ's will be providing tunes for the day. The SS Owners Club grid girls will be there so grab a photo with them. Drivers brief 10am. Depart Bunnings at 10:10am, arrive at Penrith Paceway approx 11:30am. Judging of vehicles will be 12:30pm-2:30pm. Raffle drawn 3:30pm. Trophies announced 3:45pm, depart venue 4pm.

The 2017 Hay Mini Nationals will be held on the 9th – 12th of June. Australia’s most prestigious Mini show and shine with new class for Modern Mini (1983 – 2000). Scrutiny and documentation will be available Friday night and Saturday afternoon.
A Massive range of merchandise (pre order and available during the event). There will be a huge celebration on Saturday night including Hay Heroes will be run under stadium lights, Hay Heroes Juniors, grab a flag novelty event, bon fire, fireworks, food, music and party in the giant marquee.
There will be a Booze Bus running back into town. Sunday sees a massive 7 lane Motorkhana. Camping will be available at the grounds. Giant fancy dress presentation party.
