HAMPTON DOWNS & MAZDA PRESENT MAD MIKE'S SUMMER BASH 2018
Hampton Downs, Mazda and New Zealand Drift Superstar Mad Mike Whiddett have joined forces once again to bring you another instalment of the very best drift action New Zealand has to offer - it's Mad Mike Summer Bash 3 - Where Mad Mike and RADBUL will take on New Zealands Best!
A highlight at this years show - Mazda NZ is bringing one of the iconic centre pieces of Mazda heritage from Japan, come and witness live and direct the Mazda 767B of Seniji Hoshino san as he does solo demonstration runs and leads the cruise parades. USA's TJ Hunt will also be heading down under to get on track bringing one of his very own builds to showcase and share with his many fans.
NZs best drifters will again feature in the headline Summer Bash Shootout event where all comers will go up against Mad Mike. A star of the show will be Whiddetts RADBUL Mazda MX5 which he will run alongside several other machines that make up Mad Mike's fleet. The event format includes the 767B demo's, Top 16 Drift Superclass, Triple Threat Team Event, Open Drift sessions, Time Attack Outlaws, Gymkhana, International Cruise sessions and the new Summer Bash Skid King.
There will be MASSIVE prizes and trophies up for grabs for all winners and runners up. In addition to this we have the Mazda Drift Gymkhana where anybody can have a crack at drifting our Mazda MX5's on the skidpan, the International track cruise open to the public, off the track there will be the Meguiar's Hard Park Show ‘n Shine. There will be the Family Fun Zone, VIP Trackside Lounge and grandstands so the fans can get up close to the action.
