The Valla Rod Run is hosted by the Dragens Hot Rod Club of New South Wales and 2018 will be the 42nd anniversary of the Valla Rod Run. The run dates for 2018 will be Sunday 30th September to Saturday 6th October 2017. (The Monday we will be there is a public holiday).
One of the best rod runs in the country with the host club working tirelessly to ensure all participants have a great time. Valla 2018 entry forms will only be available on the Drag Ens club website from midnight 8th June 2018. See you all then. | | Details

Celebrate with us on Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th September 2018 at Old Bar Beach.
The Old Bar Beach Festival is an annual community event that has grown to attract more than 30,000 people each year. The Kombi/Transporter swap meet Australian record attempt is one of the major highlights of the festival. The number of Kombis that arrive at the festival has steadily increased over the last ten years due to the support of many Kombi owners who now have made the festival an annual pilgrimage.
For Kombi owners this festival is a place to meet and share their passion for their beloved buses with like-minded Kombi enthusiasts in a relaxed and festive atmosphere suited for the whole family.
Each year we look at what we can do to make the festival even better. In 2012 we added a spectacular fireworks display, hosted by Ka-Boom Fireworks and introduced more children’s entertainment. In 2013 we had more professional bands and artists and this year Saltwater Board Riders Club will host the Kev Lee Memorial Single Fin Cup and wrapping up the festival on Sunday afternoon will be Taree Old Bar Surf Life Savings Club’s beer, burger and footy grand final afternoon.
