All Japan Day 2016
Wigley Reserve, Glenelg, SA
28 February, 2016
All Japan Day 2016 is being held on 28th February at the Wigley Reserve, Glenelg, SA. It was born from a crisis developing in the import motor enthusiast community. Local car shows involving Japanese imports were losing focus on what the enthusiast wants at a car show - a opportunity to admire and talk about the sensational vehicles on display without being distracted by gimmicks or high prices. All Japan Day is guaranteed to have something to cater for everyone’s taste.
The first All Japan Day occurred in 2008 with over $900 being donated to the Surf Life Saving Association of South Australia. Since the inaugural event AJD has supported Animal Welfare League, Cancer Council and Kick Start for Kids.
Over the years we have continued to astound spectators by the attractions on offer over the years we have had cars and bike spanning 5 decades including: A barn-find Toyota Lite-stout. An IMMACULATE Datsun KP510. Honda's NSX supercar National level drift cars. We are very excited about building our event and continuing to wow, we hope its ongoing success will continue to encourage entrants from interstate (maybe even overseas? Mazda please send us a 787B racer!) in future years. So, come and enjoy us for a relaxing day out and be dazzled by some of Australia's finest Japanese automobiles.
