In it's 39th Year, the Charters Towers Motor Show & Swap Meet is a must-do on the North Queensland Car Scene.
Two days (Saturday and Sunday) of car static displays and driving events, as well as the Swap Meet and Market Stalls. Friday night will kick off with a Meet N Greet with Friday itself a set-up day.
Friday - Set up from 7am for Swap and Motor Show
- Meet N Greet from 6pm to midnight
Saturday - gates open 6am for Swap and Motor Show
- 9am - Judging commences
- 10am - bar opens
- 11am - Super Cruise
- 12pm - Bill Henderson Observation Rally
- 2:30pm - Go To Whoa Qualifying
- 6pm to midnight - Bar / Food / Movies and Music
Sunday - gates open 6am for Swap and Motor Show
- 8am - Judging registrations close /judging commences
- 10am - bar opens
- 11am - Go To Whoa Top Ten Shootout
- 1:30pm - Sunday Super Cruise
- 2pm - Presentations
This year our Feature car is the 1967 XR Falcon known as "ZERO'D" by Mick Fabar. Mick's Hotrod is Green in all sense of the word, with the team sourcing environmentally-friendly and sustainable components, as well as the Falcon running on commercially available Bio-Diesel which makes for one, tough, zero-emission vehicle!
