Brassall Shopping Centre to Ipswich Showground
Ulysses Club Inc. Lockyer Branch's Annual Ipswich Toy Run is now proudly into its 22nd year. All Toys and items gathered, along with monies raised are donated to the the Salvation Army Corps of Bundamba, Goodna and Ipswich (as part of Salvation Army Christmas Appeal) A small portion of funds are directed towards UCARF - Ulysses Club Arthritis Research Fund.
Cost:
$20 registration fee per person which gets you a Patch or Pin, Salvo cooked breakfast, bottle of water and a ticket in the Perpetual Draw with results at end venue. You can participate in the ride for free if you wish, all we ask is you throw a toy in the Salvo truck. If you bring lollies to throw, please don't, give them to the Salvo's for the kids that don't have any.
We don't have many requests of participants but these are for everyone's safety. NO lolly throwing. NO high fives. NO stopping. YES to noise - horns music etc. YES to smiling and enjoying the event.
Registration starts at 8:00 am.
Ride Departs Brassall Shopping Centre at 10:30 am with full Police Escort. Arrival at the Ipswich Show Grounds, Greyhound Pavillion at approximately 11:00-11:15 am.
