The Monbulk Car Show is a community event held on 12th November, 2017 in the main street in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges approx 1 hour from Melbourne. Home to the Tesselaar Tulip Farm and once home to the famous Monbulk Jam (if you are old enough to remember).
As mentioned the main street is closed to regular traffic and comes alive to the sounds of classic Australian muscle cars, European marques, customs and even the odd race car! There is a busy “trade alley”, demonstrations from the CFA and other community groups and our biggest “Kids Zone” ever. $2 gold coin entry.
A family friendly event with plenty of food and drink, enjoy and beer on the lawn of the RSL watching this year’s Bathurst Race on the big screen, try one of our 4 bakeries or any of the many take-away outlets in town. Starting at 10 am and concluding with trophy presentations around 3pm, you can stay and wander, head off for the remainder of the afternoon along some of our picturesque roads or even head to one of the wineries of the region.
A great day out for all the family, a great place to take your special vehicle for a drive and plenty of other attractions in the region for you to discover and enjoy. From Shannon Bennet’s “Burnham Beeches Estate” and Piggery Café in Sherbrooke to the renown National Rhododendron Gardens in Olinda. There is something for everyone within an easy drive of Melbourne.
