Picnic at Hanging Rock

The Macedon Ranges and District Motor Club will be staging its 30th Annual Picnic at Hanging Rock on Sunday 12th February 2017. The event is designed to be a family picnic day where enthusiasts can bring their classic, veteran, vintage, rods and special interest vehicles (pre 1989) along and share their passion with other enthusiasts and the general viewing public.
There will be entertainment for the children, displays from sponsors, motoring celebrities, trade stands and thousands of vehicles to view along with sponsor displays and commemorative t-shirts and badges for sale. The event takes place at the world famous Hanging Rock Reserve near Woodend, approximately 50 minutes north of Melbourne along the Calder Highway. Apart from the excellent display of vehicles, visitors are able to climb the ‘Rock’, as well as enjoy a family picnic and great day out.
Entry for display cars is via the main gates, with spectator parking via the general parking gate. Traffic Wardens and road signs are in place to assist with directions. General parking area open from 7.30am. Entry $20 per vehicle with pedestrians $5.
