A Festival to celebrate the iconic Car Cult Movie.
Last weekend in October 2018.
A collection of Star Cars, Fans and those involved in the Film Production.
Friday: Cruise into Town, informal gathering at the Ailsa Fitzsimmons Cobar Camels Grounds.
Saturday Morning: Cruise to Canbelego where Rebel's Garage Stood.
Saturday Lunch: BBQ Lunch at Drummound Park and Show N Shine. Actors from the Film will be in attendance.
Saturday Arvo: Cruise the Hot Spots around Town that used in the Film.
Saturday Night: Function at the Cobar Golf and Bowling Club. Awards and Presentations. Live Music.
Merchandise will be available over the internet and on the Weekend.
This event is a Charity Fundraiser to build both a World War One Monument and a Miner's Memorial for the people of Cobar. This is purely Volunteers only and non-for-profit. Anyone interested in the event or would like to be involved in any way, shape or form, please don't hesitate to contact us.
