The Great Tarmac Rally Charity Car Display

Calling all car clubs and social groups! 🚘🚘📣📣
As part of the second Australian Tarmac Rally Championship round in Marysville Drive Against Depression is calling all car clubs and social groups to join us for a static display on Saturday 13th October 2018.
We're convening on the oval for group displays in time for when everyone is back from the rally stage (competitors and tour participants both due back around the same time, approximately 4pm).
If you aren't competing/touring this is a brilliant opportunity to still be involved in the most anticipated event on the Australian Tarmac Rally Championship calendar. Convene for a cruise and end up at the footy oval, or just meet the group there.

Marysville is a beautiful location and a very welcoming community less than two hours from the Melbourne CBD. What better way to bring your group/club together for a cruise and social display leading into the late Spring evening.

What started as a simple mission has become a full time passion and a registered charity to support those with anxiety and/or depression through a shared enthusiasm for motoring.
In Australia, it's estimated that 45% of people will experience a mental health condition in their lifetime. In any one year, around 1 million Australian adults have depression, and over 2 million have anxiety.
Our purpose is to provide opportunities for people to connect with new and old friends, reconnect with themselves, enjoy their car and a day out...and importantly feel comfortable to start conversations about mental health.
The DAD crew works tirelessly putting together social events, inspiring drive routes and bucket list experiences to support those with mental illness. At our events conversations about mental health are normalised in a non-confrontational, judgement free space.
By creating these spaces to start conversations and seek ongoing support we're kicking the stigma long associated with anxiety and depression and encouraging simple ways to check in with yourself and your mates.
It's not always an easy gig but it’s one we've taken on with pride.
