Winter just wouldn’t be complete without an early morning Swap Meet to attend at least once a season.
To complement its annual summer-time Swap Meet in January, Sydney Dragway will be holding its Performance and Automotive Swap Meet in August as well!
The Swap Meet, to be held on Saturday, August 8 will kick off an entire weekend of all that is classic, vintage, nostalgic and historic. Beginning with the Swap Meet Saturday morning make sure you hang around to acknowledge and celebrate the pioneers and legends of the sport with the ANFA Awards on Saturday evening. The weekend will culminate in the Cruzin’ Magazine Nostalgia Drags on Sunday, August 9.
So you have plenty of time to clean the garage, clear out the shed and de-clutter the man-cave and make a buck or two in the process. Or, alternatively you may be able to find a bargain or two for that hot rod you’re building or that vintage car you’re restoring!
Whatever it is, you’ll be sure to find it here!

Well it’s that time again folks for Powercruise One Day Powerplay. This year 1 Day Powerplay is on 8th August, 2015 at Sydney Motorsport Park, Ferrers Road, Eastern Creek from 8am to 5pm.
And what better place to rip up the straights than the newly renamed and freshly refurbished Sydney Motorsport Park so make sure you got the old faithful cruiser ready to rock and roll because your gunna get 1 Day of pure madness in what’s fast becoming the favourite event for all when we do it all in just 1 day.
From old school V8 Muscle to Imports to Hot Rods and everything in between, they will all be out in force and with just over 500 entrants making their way through the gates last year, their sure to be eager to get onto the track for the first Powercruise session of the day which will kick of at 8am.

The Laurie Starling Memorial Event is on 8th August, 2015 at Penrith Club Paceway, Corner Station & Ransley Streets, Penrith. The event is on Saturday from 10am.
Please join us in honouring the memory of The Chop Shop founder & Master Craftsman, Laurie Starling.
This year the event will be held at the Penrith Paceway in the central ring, there is access to all forms of vehicles & suitable parking for support vehicles trailers & the like.
When you arrive at the venue, you will be welcomed by one of the friendly members of Zero Altitude Australia who will collect your entry fee (for cars) or gold coin donation for others and point you in the right direction for parking.
The cost will be $10 each for cars & bikes all others a gold coin donation.
After the fun in the sun please feel free to head over to Penrith Panthers for drinks and laughs. Please note that they have a dress code; no thongs, no singlets and no t-shirts with offensive language or images.
