The 4th annual Southern Cross Charities Laidley Show n Shine is being held on the 19th May 2018 at the Laidley Showgrounds in Hayes Street.
Gates open at 2pm and all entries to be registered by 4pm. Hot food and drinks. Public entry gold coin donation. $10 vehicle, bike, pinup entry, market stalls $10, trade stalls $50. Money raised on the day goes to support orphans in Lesotho. Info Barbara 0412 140 239.

Festival of Elegance Water Wheels Wings

The festival of elegance water wheels wings is being held on the gold coast from Friday May 18 - Sunday May 20th 2018.
The event starts with the excellence awards night at brocks garage at Dreamworld from 7pm till 11.30pm. Saturday trivia tour and hill climb challenge kicking off at Zarraffa's at Hope Island. Marshalling is at 8.30am on Saturday May 19, ready for the Youth at Risk Trivia Tour. The event is open to all street cars and classic motor vehicles from yesterday.
After lunch we'll be having a hill climb timed event to Mount Tamborine, so please note it is not a car race. You'll nominate your time over this distance and the closest one to their time wins the hill climb trophy for 2018. The Show and Shine is on Sunday May 20th at “The Boat Works” at Coomera, with Tony Longhurst’s private collection as our centre piece from 10am till 3pm. | | Details

Our Old School cruise nights kick off from from 4PM and Harry's Diner will be open and cooking up a storm, all Old School lovers are welcome and at 7.30PM every one is welcome to cruise off to Bunnings Carseldine and then if your still keen onto Redcliffe later.

| Bop and jive your way into the Redland Showgrounds to celebrate two decades of the GreazeFest Kustom Kulture Festival over a three-day event that will bring back nostalgic scenes of the 1950s.
Join passionate rockabilly and hot rod enthusiasts in a celebration of all things vintage. Setting the scene will be legendary Californian band, The Paladins and Tennessee country king, Jason Lee Wilson – joined on the music bill by over 20 local rockabilly and rock n roll bands.
Cool cars, pinup pageants, lowrider cycles, kustom art shows and workshops, tiki carving, jive dancing, local and international art and vintage markets will also feature at a festival that has earned a reputation as the Southern Hemisphere’s most exciting Kustom Kulture event.
