    The McLaren Vale Vintage & Classic is a great family day celebration of vintage and classic motoring. A fantastic mix of food, wine, music and the arts together with the energy and passion of motoring enthusiasts. It offers the visitor exquisite tastes of the McLaren Vale region's world-class wines, tantalising gourmet food and classic motor vehicles of a by-gone era.

    Now in its 12th year, the McLaren Vale Vintage & Classic that it now commands two days, taking place over the weekend of 1st and 2nd April 2017 and is set in the relaxed atmosphere of McLaren Vale’s wineries and cellar doors.

    The unique mix of activities has kept thousands of people coming back year after year. The combination of vintage and classic cars, food, wine and motoring enthusiasts in an outdoor setting gel to make this weekend like no other. 2016 was the biggest year so far with over 520 vehicles and 15-20,000 people lining the Main Street for the grand parade.The 2017 event will support the McLaren Vale & District War Memorial Hospital and the local CFS brigades of McLaren Vale and McLaren Flat.

    The Tri Five Classics Association Inc. present their 32nd GM Day show n Shine on Sunday 2nd April 2017 at Princess Park in Gawler.

    This years theme is Celebrating the achievements of the Holden Factory. Trophies for over 30 categories, first 250 cars entered will receive a commemorative plaque. All GM vehicles past and present are welcome.

    Catering on site, entrants from 8am, public gates open 10am. Adults admission $5, family $10, concession $3.

    2017 will be the ninth running of the Mount Alma Mile Hillclimb, held this year on the 1st - 2nd April at the popular closed road course at Inman Valley, 10km West of Victor Harbor. The 1.6km track is the longest currently being used in SA, and plays host to a field of 160 competitors.

    Spectator points at the start line, first corner and above the chicane provide great viewing; a shuttle bus ferries spectators the ¼ mile to the first corner, however the chicane spectator point can only be accessed by hiking up the slope from the start line.
