The Down Under London to Brighton Run is being held on 1st October, 2017 at the Mile End to Brighton, South Australia.
The Run is for veteran vehicles (pre 1919) and this year’s event will depart London Road Mile End at 10am on Sunday October the 1st to the Combined Car Clubs clubrooms in Clark Ave Glandore, where entrants and guests can enjoy a London Bun with tea or coffee. Vehicles will then be guided to the Wattle Reserve in Brighton where everyone will be welcomed by the City of Holdfast Bay Mayor. (AKA Mayor of Brighton).
The vehicles will then travel to a suitable destination where they will remain on display until around 2.30pm while entrants enjoy their lunch (not included in $10 entry).
Entry fee $10 which includes morning tea for two, spectators free. Entrants are encouraged to wear costume relevant to the period of their vehicle. Open to owners of any veteran vehicle, whether Club members or not.

Palmer Hot Rod Street Party is being held at the Main Street of Palmer is the place to be on Sunday, October 1st, 2017 if you love great cars and great music! Palmer is a small town with a population of approximately 80 people, located 16 kilometres west of Mannum on the Adelaide to Mannum Road.
The day features everything from Hot Rods to the classics, muscle cars and street machines which will fill the main street of Palmer. It all starts at 11am with a live band. Bar and food facilities, wheelbarrow and gate raffles and dance floor. Free entry.
Palmers main street will be closed to through traffic from 10am to 5pm to allow angle parking for the special interest vehicles and for the safety of the public.
