25-28 January, 2018
The Mount Gambier Veteran & Vintage Car Committee and Club Members invite you to our 2018 Australia Day Tour, the “Forest, Coast and Coola”, to be held on the 25th to the 28th January 2018 from Mount Gambier.
Thursday 25 January
Entrants may collect their Tour Packs (Early Bird registrations) on Thursday 25 January at the Club Rooms between 2pm and 6pm. Free Tea, Coffee and biscuits available. Entrants are welcome to stay and chat. After 6pm, BYO snacks or evening meal.
Friday 26 January (PUBLIC HOLIDAY)
Club Rooms: Entrants registrations from 8.30 am to 9.30 am ~ free tea, coffee and biscuits available. Official opening of Tour at 10 am.
The tour will travel to Tarpeena where we join Grant District Council’s Australia Day Celebrations for Lunch and Static Display. Lunch: (Option BYO Food) or entrants may purchase quality meals available for sale at the Australia Day venue.
Following lunch the Tour will travel on to visit the expanded Nangwarry Timber Museum and afterwards, the tour will return via the main Riddoch Highway to Mount Gambier.
Evening Meal: (5.30pm for 6.30pm RSL Sturt St. Mount Gambier)
A two course dinner, including sweets at $27 is offered at the Mount Gambier Community Club and Returned Services League (RSL) on Sturt Street Mount Gambier. Cake, Coffee and drinks a la carte. Before or after dinner, you can view Mount Gambier RSL’s comprehensive display in their renowned museum. After dinner entertainment may be available at venue: Entrants’ option to remain, or do your own thing!
Saturday 27 January
* 8 am to 10 am Static Display at the Lady Nelson Visitor Centre.
* Depart 10am for “Running Board” Lunch ($12) at Nelson provided by Nelson Mens’ Shed (Option BYO food).
* After lunch, we will travel to Coola Station Return to Mount Gambier following Coola Station visit.
* Evening Meal: Club Rooms 5 pm for 6 pm hot meal at $22. (Entertainment after meal).
Sunday 28 January
Farewell Breakfast/Brunch 8.30 am to 10 am. Cereals and Juice, Cooked Breakfast, Tea and Coffee ($5), presentations and close of Tour at 10.30am.

SA Rod & Custom Club are holding an Australia Day cruise and laid back day at Marion RSL Club on Friday 26th January, 2018 at the Marion RSL Club, Norfolk Road, Marion.
Hot rods and 60's - 70's Aussie and American classics and muscle cars all welcome. Cruise leaving Churchill Centre at 10am sharp. Map provided on the day. Special interest parking on shaded grass area. Food and drinks available at RSL - no BYO.
